Supporting Parents & Carers too

The play sessions are for parents, carers and their children and led by our Senior Play Leaders who is supported by their Assistant and a team of volunteers. They assist with the children during the sessions using lots of sensory activities chosen specifically to benefit the children and encourage their development. The sessions are also designed to be a support session for parents and carers.

The sessions offer parent/carers and their children the opportunity to meet other families, to befriend, and share experiences. The groups also offer parents/carers information, advice and workshops

We invite speakers to discuss various topics related to health, education and care.

We also organise therapists to come to the sessions including Paediatric Speech and Language therapists, Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists who attend each term to run workshops on topics that are pertinent.

We are a very diverse team and parent befrienders are also available to offer help with language support.

Transport

Transport is available for those in need. There is a payment of £3 to and from the play & Support sessions.
