Play and Support Sessions

A nurturing, inclusive, and family‑centred space for children with additional needs and the people who love them.

At Ealing Anchor Foundation, we know how important it is for families to feel supported, welcomed, and understood. Our Play & Support Sessions offer a calm, joyful environment where children can explore and thrive and where parents and carers can find connection, advice, and community.

Our sessions are led by Senior Play Leaders, supported by Assistant Play Workers and a team of compassionate volunteers, all committed to creating a safe, playful, and sensory-rich experience tailored to each child.

🌈 What Happens in a Session?

Each session is carefully designed for children aged 0–5 with additional needs. Your child will enjoy:

  • Sensory-rich activities chosen to encourage communication, curiosity, and development
  • Arts, crafts, textures, water and sand play, and exploratory materials
  • A visit to the Sensory Room in small groups
  • Music Therapy sessions (Tuesdays) to support speech, movement, confidence, and motor skills

Children are encouraged to move at their own pace, express themselves in their own way, and take part in activities that suit their sensory and developmental needs.

Siblings are always welcome.

💛 Supporting Parents & Carers
